The first time I took this trail with my then girlfriend. We were on a vacation checking out the area. I was in the early stages of convincing her that we should move to Oregon and get out of California while the getting was still good. This picture was taken by my now wife of my daughter and I taking in the view.
The Green Springs Mountain Loop trailhead is a low impact, short loop with such beautiful scenery. It’s close by but you get to feel like it’s hours outside of town. Views of the Rogue Valley, Pilot Rock and Emigrant Lake are within reach of the most novice of hikers.
